About Us
WHO WE ARE
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Mexican Cultural Center is to promote understanding and awareness of the cultural and artistic diversity of Mexico and its influence in the Delaware Valley. The MCC supports the cultural heritage of the Mexican community in Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware and fosters understanding between our nations by promoting cultural expressions, art, and education.
WHAT WE DO
The MCC celebrated and promoted Mexican culture through annual programs, including the Mexican Independence Day Festival, Day of the Dead, Mexican Week in Philadelphia, a Christmas Posada, and workshops for children.
Special events include lectures and exhibitions about Mexican history, culture, cuisine, and traditions. The MCC also hosts musical events featuring popular, opera, and folk music performed by Mexican singers and chamber orchestras, as well as dance performances by Azctec and Mexican folkloric ballet groups.
