Celebrating Mexican culture for more than ten years with a series of events between April 28th and May 4th!
This is a free and popular event that has something for everyone: traditional Mexican food and artisan crafts vendors, renowned performers from Mexico and the area on stage, children’s activities, and much more. It is worth noting that during this event, the traditional “Grito de Independencia” ceremony will be taking place on stage.
The Flag Raising Ceremony is part of the Mexican Independence festivities, everyone is invited!
One of the most representative festivities of our culture is, without a doubt, Day of the Dead! To celebrate this holiday an altar installation will be placed by a local Mexican artist. Attendees will be able to meet the artist and enjoy an evening of wonderful music and dance performances.
At this family-oriented event children have the opportunity to engage in different hand-on activities, such as flower making, drawing station, marshmallow skull-making, among others. All attendees have the opportunity to vote for their favorite altar at the community altar contest, sample “Pan de Muerto”, hot chocolate and much more!
