Celebrating Mexican culture for more than ten years with a series of events between April 28th and May 4th ! The following are this year’s events:
April 28th.- “Carnaval de Puebla”.- Parade starts at 12:00pm on 1801 S. Chadwick St., Philadelphia.
*Route: Proceed along 16th St. reaching Washington Ave., turning right to conclude at Sacks Playground.
Festival @Sacks Playground, Philadelphia, from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
April 29th.- Candle workshop.- Casa Mexico restaurant from 6:00pm-7:30pm, 35dlls admission.
April 30th.- “Dia del Niño”.- Anna C. Verna Playground in FDR Park from 5:00pm-7:00pm, free admission.
May 1st.- Guided tour.- Mexican and Central American Gallery @Penn Museum from 6:00pm- 7:00pm, free admission.
May 2nd.- “Friends of Mexico Award” luncheon.- Fundraiser @ Downtown Marriott from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
May 2nd.- Movie night “Museo”.- Philadelphia Film Society at 6:00pm, free admission.
May 3rd.- Guided tour.- Mexican art pieces @Philadelphia Museum of Art at 6:00pm, free admission.
May 4th.- Guided family tour.- @Museum of the American Revolution from 3:00pm – 4:00pm, free admission.
